Product Description:
Ginseng Extract—Total Ginsenosides is refined from the roots, stems, and leaves of the plant *Panax ginseng* (Araliaceae family). It primarily contains various ginsenosides, including Rb1, Rb2, Rd, Rc, Re, Ro, Rf, Rg1, Rg2, Rg3, Rh1, Rh2, and others. It also contains small amounts of β-sitosterol, flavonoids such as kaempferol, trifolin, ginseng flavonoids, and luteolin glucoside. The total content of ginsenosides generally ranges between 80-90%.
Extraction Process:
The ginseng stem and leaf extract is produced using dried ginseng stems and leaves as raw materials. The process involves crushing, loading into tanks, and extracting with water (10 times the volume) in three boiling cycles, each lasting 2 hours. The extract is then filtered through a plate and frame filter, and the filtrates are combined. The combined extract is adsorbed onto a macroporous resin column, washed with water to remove impurities, and eluted with ethanol-water to obtain total ginsenosides. The eluates are combined, and ethanol is recovered until no alcohol remains. The solution is further concentrated by evaporating water until the specific gravity reaches d=1.15. Finally, it is spray-dried, crushed, passed through a 100-mesh sieve, and packaged after mixing.
