【Plant Source】: Seeds of Vitis vinifera L., a deciduous vine plant from the Vitaceae family. The plant has palmate leaves, alternate in arrangement, with a heart-shaped base and 3-5 coarse-toothed lobes. It bears compound racemes, usually in a conical shape, with small, yellow-green flowers. The berries are mostly spherical or ellipsoidal, varying in color depending on the variety. Native to Western Asia, most vineyards worldwide are located between 20°-52°N and 30°-45°S latitudes, predominantly in the Northern Hemisphere. In China, grapes are mainly cultivated between 30°-43°N latitude.
